Description
The “Marconi” sanatorium occupies the building of the former “Łazienki” bathhouse erected by the famous architect of Italian origin Henryk Marconi in 1836. It offers medical treatment facilities as well as accommodations for 170 persons in high standard single rooms, double rooms and suites. The main building houses a pump room and a concert hall in which various cultural events are organized with the participation of Polish and foreign artists (modern and classical music recitals, folk and pop music concerts, satirical and poetic events). The spa orchestra often performs and adds much to the nice ambiance of the stay in Busko-Zdrój. The “Marconi” sanatorium is pride of the town and its health resort.
IODIDE-BROMIDE BATH Very soothing and relaxing experience is provided by baths in the iodide-bromide brine filling a mini-pool with hydro massage facility. The strong water and bubble massage relieves ailments caused by degeneration of joints. It also has a beneficial therapeutic influence on locomotor organs, internal organs, relaxation of muscles, respiratory tract, and skin condition. It improves blood circulation, brings relax and fights stress. The mini-pool bath can simultaneously accommodate 6 persons.
The iodide-bromide brine solution is pumped up to the graduation tower top and evaporates dripping down along its sloe twigs. Then, similar to that of the seaside microcimate is created and natural iodine saturated vapour can be inhaled by bathers.
HYDRO-JET therapy consists of a mechanical massage of the whole body on a water bed. It has regenerating
and relaxing properties, comforts your mind and improves metabolism of muscle cells.
